26.10 - Tiny Takeover

Minecraft just updated all the babies… and broke compatibility with many of Fixed Vanilla’s fixes. No problem at all, that’s what pack updates are for! This update also brings some fixes for Vibrant Visuals, which I’ve been avoiding until now.


BLOCKS

  • Fixed ‘pale_oak_standing_sign’ and ‘pale_oak_wall_sign’ icons in the command completion screen

ENTITIES


TEXTURES

  • Fixed baby Glow Squid’s MERS texture being misaligned in Vibrant Visuals [MCPE-235474]
  • Fixed Glow Squid particles not being emissive in Vibrant Visuals

MODELS

  • Reincluded fixes for various pivots in the Wolf model not being centered [MCPE-235050, MCPE-232724]
  • Fixed baby Piglin and Zombified Piglin models not being centered [MCPE-236695]
  • Fixed baby Zombie Villager model not being centered [MCPE-237446]
  • Fixed baby Villager model having offset pivots [MCPE-237444]
  • Made several fixes to the dedicated baby humanoid armor pieces
    • Fixed armor pieces being asymmetrical [MCPE-236696]
    • Fixed clipping issues between the leggings and chestplate
    • Helmets are now slightly lower for Zombies, Husks and Gurgles
    • Helmets are now slightly lower and shifted forward for Piglins and Zombified Piglins
    • Boots and leggings no longer clip through the ground when worn by Zombie Villagers
  • Fixed helmet position for Zombie Villagers
  • Changed Zombie Villagers’ outer clothes to match Java Edition
  • Fixed position of items held by Parched
  • Fixed position of items held by all baby humanoid mobs
  • Tweaked all baby humanoid geometries to follow a more similar structure to the player's model

ANIMATIONS

  • Fixed position of the Drowned in the swimming animation to match the player

DEFAULT TEXTURES ONLY

  • Saddle MERS textures are now consistent across all horses
  • Piston arms’ MERS textures are now consistent with their block forms [MCPE-236918]
  • V1 Villagers and Zombie Villagers’ MERS textures are now consistent with the updated textures
  • Minecart’s MERS texture is no longer incorrectly sized
  • Redstone blocks are no longer too bright [MCPE-220950]

CLASSIC TEXTURES ONLY

  • The Rabbit now uses its updated model and textures
  • The following mobs now use their updated baby designs:
    • Chicken
    • Cow
    • Pig
    • Sheep
    • Donkey
    • Horse
    • Mule
    • Llama
    • Ocelot
    • Rabbit
    • Mooshroom
    • Drowned
    • Husk
    • Skeleton Horse
    • Zombie
    • Zombie Horse
    • Zoglin
    • Zombified Piglin

PACK

  • [ENTITIES] Zombies, Husks, Drowned, Zombie Villagers, Piglins and Zombified Piglins now use the dedicated baby humanoid armor model
  • [ENTITIES] The pack now supports the new baby models for the Villagers and Zombie Villagers
  • [ENTITIES] Husks are no longer invisible in older version locked worlds with the pack enabled
    • The spawn eggs are still incorrectly colored due to MCPE-236132
  • [ENTITIES] Zombie Villagers are no longer scaled like regular Villagers
  • [ENTITIES] Removed obsolete fix for MCPE-226609
  • [MODELS] Removed obsolete fix for MCPE-228256
  • [TEXTURES] Removed some item textures that were included in the pack for no reason
  • [DEFAULT TEXTURES ONLY] All of the pack’s texture changes now support Vibrant Visuals
  • [DEFAULT TEXTURES ONLY] Zombie horse no longer uses an outdated texture
  • [DEFAULT TEXTURES ONLY] Removed a couple of obsolete texture fixes
  • [DEFAULT TEXTURES ONLY] Merged the feature list entries about carried foliage textures to reflect recent changes:
    • [NEW TEXT] Fixed Short Grass, Fern, Tall Grass, Large Fern and Vines' carried textures [MCPE-187330]
  • [CLASSIC TEXTURES ONLY] Updated feature list to mention the fix for spear animations

Eyy! Fixed Vanilla is back from its year long break! This should hopefully bring the pack up to date, please comment if there are any issues that only occur with the pack enabled. Also feel free to suggest new fixes that could possibly be put in: textures, models, animations...

yo could i use your fixed swap item animation that doesnt make attachables disappear instantly/appear instantly on a initial swap? i can figure it out.

its for my fixed item resource pack and no its not monetized and ofc ill credit.

Unfortunately, fixing that would require transforming all items into attachables, which would introduce even more issues.

Hi, are you using the latest version of the pack? I released a new version for Tiny Takeover, which should fix any issues with armor.

Yes, I tested the latest version and the issue is still there. The zombie villager’s profession or biome clothing clips through the armor, especially in the leggings area.

Ah, unfortunately that's just a consequence of the armor model not being made for the villagers, the robe layer is way longer than the torso so it ends up clipping through the legs, that's also how it is on Java Edition, which was the reference for the fix.

Make sure to apply Fixed Vanilla under Java Aspects, the top resource pack is always prioritized!

Do you mean the game version, or the format version used in the entity definitions? If it's the former, I won't do it. It's not a bug to be fixed. If it's the latter, I'd have to consider the pros and cons of doing that, but am open to the idea.

Will you also make the sprint jumping animation similar to Java sprint jumping animation?

I try to avoid messy fixes if I can't guarantee the result in-game will be 100% indistinguishable from a real fix, and right now there isn't a clean way to fix the sprint jump

I'd like to mention that the horse model in Bedrock Edition is smaller than in Java Edition, and the animations aren't correct either. Will the horse's size be corrected in a future patched update of fixed vanilla?

I've looked into the horse size before, it is actually defined in its behavior file, so it's not really something I can fix (because it wouldn't match its collision box and all that). I can look into animations though!

Hey so there seems to be a bug with all Wolf Variants, when tamed they become completely invisible, also other plays animations when moving their hands for any reason such as punching, mining, ect, no longer play

Hi, sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Do you have the latest pack update downloaded? Are you using any other resource/behavior packs?

The latest resource pack still has this problem,It is not the reason for other resource packages or add-on packages,Simple is that the player's arm animation cannot be played,Except myself,If possible, please fix the player's arm problem in the next version.

Could you try redownloading the pack and see if the issue is fixed please? I uploaded a hotfix shortly after the release of the update.

No, the arm problem is still unresolved,I hope the hot fix patch will be released soon.

I've uploaded a new version of the pack today that mitigates some of the issues from the initial release. It should work without breaking anything in the latest Minecraft release
