Changelog

V1.1.0

- Added compatibility for Tiny Takeover and Chaos Cubed
- Sulfur Cubes and all baby mobs now have darker directional shading, a Java accurate hurt color, and no on fire overlay (Besides TNT, is not possible to give the blocks inside of Sulfur Cubes darker directional shading or a proper hurt color because they are rendered as items)
- Sulfur Cube TNT blocks can now display their exploding overlay while on fire
- Baby mob armor now has darker directional shading
- Gave baby Glow Squids directional shading
- Removed hurt overlay for Copper Golem eyes to match Java
- Added experience orb files from Java Aspects for compatibility purposes (Credit goes to AgentMindStorm)
- Experience orbs are now transparent
- Fixed an issue where mounts were being shaded too dark in the inventory screen
- Fixed an issue where baby Piglins, Hoglins, Zombified Piglins, Zoglins, and Striders looked the same as their adult versions
- Fixed an issue where many mobs reverted to using vanilla directional shading and hurt colors
- Fixed Rabbits using their old model
- Updated pack and minimum engine version

is this compatible with mods?
1
Hello, may I repost this pack on the Chinese version of Minecraft?
1
please update bcs some entities got their default bedrock shadow
1
It's being worked on right now, the update for Java Mob Shading is already complete and the one for Console Mob Shading is almost done. They should release either tomorrow or the day after.
1
Both Mob Shading packs have just been updated, so all mobs should have the correct shading now.
1
pls update the new baby mobs
1
An update to support the new baby mobs should be releasing within the next few days

EDIT: Chaos Cubed has released now and both Mob Shading packs need a lot of fixes, so the updates won't be releasing as early as I hoped
1
is it ok if i use simple graphic
1
With simple graphics enabled mobs will have no directional shading, so this pack would only change the hurt and fire overlay, and some of the glowing eyes
1
Hey can you make Java mob behavior like wither in Java shoot 3 head Skull like Java animation
1
This is a resource pack, so no it cannot change any mob behavior
1
can you make it compatible with java aspects?
1
I am hopefully planning on doing this alongside a new Console Mob Shading pack
1
Can you make it compatible with actions & stuff? (only 64x resolution)
1
While compatibility with this pack and Aspects will be possible eventually, compatibility with Actions & Stuff will never be possible with this pack because Actions & Stuff uses so many render controller tricks.
1
As of the latest update it should be compatible with Java Aspects!
1
where are the files?
1
The files appear at the bottom of the download page like normal on my end, and I haven't seen anyone else having any trouble finding them. If they don't appear for you maybe try to refresh?
1
uhhh... i use classic textures fix by THGABS and the classic minecraft texture pack by mojang, when i use this pack, some textures are the updated ones (spider, cave spider, bed, etc.) how can i fix this?
1
I forgot about classic texture compatibility when making some of the changes for this pack, right now you would have to apply this pack below the classic textures one in order to fix that. This will cause boats and beds to have improper shading though.

I will update the pack soon with a classic textures subpack so that this issue doesn't occur. Thanks for letting me know!
1
oh ok, thanks pal, btw can u make a pack to fix the enchantment glint? :DD
1
I plan to make a pack eventually where you can change enchantment glint colors, so I could probably include a smoother enchantment glint like Java as a subpack for that
1
The pack now has a Classic Textures subpack, which should make it fully compatible with the one by mojang and the classic textures fix, as long as it is placed above both
1
The concept was executed well. Thank you for this resource pack.
