Me and EmptyCoso (the one who filed the complaint, owner of Dungeos Content Addon) have already talked things out, and I have removed the asset he was referring to. It was the "Guardian Vex" mob assets that I included in v1.0. After the discussion, I removed the "Guardian Vex" assets in the v1.1 update, and it is the ONLY unpermitted asset. Other included mobs; Red Panda, Fancy Chicken, Raven, are made from scratch by me, Parzival_. I can send you some screenshots of our conversation via Gmail if you want, and you can also confirm to him that his complaint is already voided since we have already cleared everything.

People are saying that this is useless, we disagree. Minecraft is lacking in ambiance and this helps a lot. Keep in mind that everything doesn't have to be useful.

I kind of see your point about everything doesn't just have to be useful but using a golden apple to tame a chicken that just follows you... That I can't understand. I just say make some ambiance and be done with it. We don't need to work so hard just to get something that's useless if you know what I mean. Of course, you would try to get the Sniffer even though he has no use so I guess you might say it would be worth it to use a golden apple to get something that just follows you. But personally, I would have to disagree.

I was looking at some comments that said that mobs were useless or anything that is difficult to tame but in my opinion they are fine, I mean they give atmosphere to the world 😮‍💨

They give atmosphere but to make a super big deal over atmosphere is a little much. My thing is the work you put in to something should determine what you get. For example, if I were to kill a super tough boss and only got a dirt block, I'd be dissapointed. If I were to kill a zombie and get a dirt block, I'd be fine because they're easy to kill. I just find it silly to use a golden apple to tame a chicken that does nothing. Going back to the atmosphere, sure, it's nice to have atmosphere but use is important too. It's better to make something that has atmosphere and use instead of just atmosphere because that's boring. But maybe other people think that's interesting. And if that's the case, we can agree to disagree.

TBH, Minecraft is lacking in ambiance, so this is a great addon that adds ambiance with cute, cuddly animals.

TBF, We've got a lot of ambiance. We've got foxes, polar bears, and even rabbits. And there's way more ambiance than just that. But let's just say we do need more ambiance, then I would say that you should at least make a lot of ambiance and mix it with useful mobs. Kind of like the better minecraft addon. It makes ambiance like birds and stuff but there's also a lot of use. But if you think ambiance is just THAT important then we can agree to disagree.

We may have a good amount, but tbh, we need even MORE. Minecraft feels really barren. And you only listed 3 ambiance mobs that are biome exclusive. We need more mobs to roam around biomes, enhancing your gameplay with more liveliness. Butterflies and birds would be amazing if they added them in.

Yeah, I understand that part I just don't see making THAT big of a deal over it. I mean if I had the choice of a new boss that gives great loot or a bird that just flies around, and can follow you, I would for sure pick the boss! (And I hope I'm not the only one here who would pick the boss.) But you're right now that I think about it, Minecraft could use more ambiance. But I'm just saying if you are going to make a mob that serves as ambiance, then make the mob useful and serve as ambiance. Not just ambiance if you know what I mean.

It seems cool, but the red panda literally just a fox and the Fancy chicken is just a chicken, it would nice if they had different uses, for example, A fancy chicken’s feather can be used to make a special arrow or brush

The problem is TheCuphead still has a point. The chicken follows you... So? It doesn't do anything so what's the point? It's not like it's real life where you can actually interact with it. No help, no use, it just follows you. A dog is plain better because he's cheaper to get and he fights for you. The other problem is the panda just seems like an annoyance because it steals your berries... They both look cool but it would be nice if they had a use like the vex.

Think of the Fancy Chicken as an upgraded variant of the vanilla chicken. It doesn't need to have some special function whatsoever; it's for the people who like to have some chicken friend by their side in their adventures. Minecraft Dungeons' Fancy Chicken is just a cosmetic in the game, though, and that's just fine.

It's kind of like I told zorrinyx, using a golden apple is expensive for something that just follows you. The real key is however much work you put in to something is how rewarding it should be. For example, if I were to kill a super strong boss and I only got dirt, I'd be pretty upset. On the other hand, if I were to kill a zombie and I got dirt, that would be fine. I think the real reason why people like it is just because people associate the chicken with real life because when you think about it, it doesn't seem that fun to go on an adventure with it since you can't interact with it. In real life though, it'd be fun to see a chicken in person if you know what I mean.

I'm not saying I like every Minecraft mob. I don't like the Sniffer, glow squid or allay because they don't serve practical use. The cat is more useful though because it at least scares away creepers and you don't have to use a literal golden apple to tame it. In fact, if mobs don't have to do something special then by your logic, if Minecraft added a mob called steve to the game and he did nothing but stood still, by your logic, that would be good because he doesn't have to do something special.

It just kind of goes back to real life. I don't really care if I have a dog following me in Minecraft. I only care about the fact that it can fight for me. On the other hand, in real life, I actually would care about my dog and it'd be fun to go on an adventure with it! The other thing is company is a little bit of a stretch since it's just an AI and you can't interact with it, lol. But we can always agree to disagree.

The Vex sometimes get stuck in the air before attacking, I think it would be better if they didn't attack the creepers, they don't have enough strength to kill the creepers so most of the time they explode and leave a hole. 4 stars

The vex is my favorite because it attacks mobs! It's also nice that his attack hits everyone! My only problem is sometimes he'll get kind of stuck and not attack but that's okay!

The Guardian Vex and Fancy Chicken is Tamable and will follow you once tamed except for the Red Panda
