Dynamic Third Person Camera

The dynamic third-person camera is an addon that makes your camera perspective more immersive with some dynamic algorithm to make a magnificent experience. This addon is aiming to create a more customizable third-person camera with some features.

Select version for changelog:

Changelog
  • updated code to support with newest official Minecraft version (1.20.51 or above)
  • the camera now isn't locked when riding, but it will be bugged when using a boat
  • added "First Person when Riding" toggle in configuration

sir how can I add map that I am using now to the mainhand item id?
I've tried map, map_1, or empty_locator_map but nothing works.

Amazing addon, feels like a different game. One and only problem I've experienced is that when you use custom items, like guns, which make use of the playanimation command, the animations get overwritten by those of this addon. Other than that it's a great addition.

made a whole account just to say you are ridiculously talented, i love playing around with every add-on & api you bring to bedrock & generally shortcut to your page when i open this site. given the lack of any good or consistent camera overhauls in minecraft overall, it'd genuinely be a blessing to have your dynamic camera up-to-date, with some new experimental features others have mentioned, and maybe an orthographic perspective if ever possible?

Awesome but there is a big problem! More I keep the camera enabled MORE THE FPS GETS LOWER! I dont know if its my device but I have to restart the world every time it gets too laggy

I can't quite find how to minimize the camera smooth effect when moving it around (for precise pointing when combat or mining)
