I am actually planning on making a real connected glass texture pack and its a add-on.

I think it imposibble to make a connected glass,connected glass is work because its using optifine,and optifine can loaded cause it used minecraft launcher,so,if u created connected glass,you will need an app,(idk if u can do it without app)

A real block addon i will try to make glass blocks add-on and make different textures with it.
