thats already in the game you dont need this addon just type _/give @s light_block 1 15

Oh, isn't this just magical? It's perfect for dark, liminal places. It's similar to the light block, but atleast it's not to be manually modified. Survival-friendly aswell! 🌟

You should use the default light block item textures. When craft it you should get the light level 15 item texture, then you can put the item back i to the crafting table to craft the other 1-14 light levels. When you place/use the item it can /setblock the corresponding light block. You can add command actions to custom blocks and items.
