Prometheus

Originally I was going to make a full on Alien addon which ended up failing, I later thought about how my Prometheus models were still all intact and works well

Can someone please dumbify the download process for me please? My pine nut sized brain cannot wrap my head around the given guide.

Edit: I'm on Windows 10 and using File Explorer

What specific code or textures did you have a hard time with? I could maybe help out a bit. Or give some suggestions. I know very well how most addons work (Except the ones with ridiculously smart AI).

I could also ‘possibly’ make a model and textures for a mob or two if you’re ok with that and willing to allow it in your Addon. I’m pretty good with modeling, it’s just if I make a complex model it’s hard to texture it afterwards.

Trilobite impregnation, I'm not a coder which is why I didn't add the impregnation feature, after this addon I'm making an alien addon separate to this with xenomorphi

All you need to do is make a function that happens when the trilobite grabs onto someone. Make it so when the trilobite grabs onto something, it will kill the trilobite and give the player an uncommon effect (So it doesn’t affect survival gameplay) and make it so the effect lasts a certain amount of time. When that effect wears off, it will detect it and instantly kill the player while also spawning in whatever the impregnation turns into. For some code on that, you should probably check out the Xenocraft addon for some advice. Don’t straight up steal the code, but learn from it.

I used to work on xenocraft, I was there before xenocorp was the name, I know what needs to be done I just don't know how to do it, once again I'm not a coder so I don't know how to write

Ah. I see. I wish I could help. I do know some code (And I mean like actual coding not on some crappy app) , but I’m only 13 and don’t know enough to help you with that.

However, if you could tell me your email (Of course not personal) and tell me what I need to do, I could check out the Xenocraft code and be able to do enough that I could get that to work. If you could do the behaviors (For like mob HP and all that stuff) , textures, models, and animations/animation controllers, I could ensure the functionality of the Addon by doing all the special coding to make it realistic. However, it would be in .zip form when I send it to you. You would have to turn it into a .Mcaddon file. And of course test it as well. I’d be willing to do that for you (Since I owe you one due to you adding the Stitchwraith into your Freddy Craft Addon) and I do not require pay or anything. I just require some credit

Nah honestly I'm fine with no impregnation, if you want to personally and do the code yourself go ahead but I'm fine with it being normal mobs

I know everything about the Aliens Movie Lore. I’ve listened to every existing video on the lore and this is surprisingly accurate. All the other alien models and mobs on here suck (Except Xenocraft but it doesn’t work in 1.17) so please add in a Xenomorph Drone, Warrior, and Queen. I don’t mind if you don’t do the rest but at least please add those in.

This is a prometheus addon, ive been a fan of this franchise for as long as i could remember, i know tons of alien lore and i used to work for xenocraft
