Sounds effects and voices are delayed

There is a known issue with some devices that cause repeaters to activate slightly slower than usual. I recommend playing on a computer to avoid this. :)

My PC engulfed in flames, but jokes aside this is a masterpiece. From the programming to the voice acting, just perfect.

SO GOOD, Was not expecting this high quality for a map. Cannot WAIT for pt. 2! 5 stars.

This map is highly underrated.

The builds, the atmosphere, the music, the sound effects, the details, they are so good.

The NPCs' little details give it that extra layer of horror It even goes as far as having great voice acting for the NPCs' dialogues, and have their mouths perfectly timed to move exactly when they are talking. And the details of the maid shivering her head because she knew she was gonna die, it is a small but frightening little detail. It baffles me how these were made.

The builds are so amazing. The natural light gives it that spine-chilling atmosphere. The amount of beauty you can get in a horror map is limited but these builds managed to surpass that entirely. it exceeds the quality of every other map known to bedrock. Each part of this is carefully thought & well made and never fails to deliver in each step. The builders of this map are extremely talented.

The experience was phenomenal. The cut scenes are so smooth & stunning and the captions are a neat touch. The choice of music is very fitting. And its very thoughtful of you to leave out the ghost from the trailer for that surprise reveal. The objectives were very hard but rewarding as we get to have another mechanic of the game revealed. One minute you are looking for keys, the next minute you are running from a speedy monster through a maze thats closing its hallways as you run.

All in all, all I ever thought while playing this was "holy s---! how did they make this wtf??? oh wow that lady looks scary while its running towards me... wait whattt". My sibling and i declared it as The Best map we've ever played. Nothing else has influenced me to type something longer than I'm willing to with my English homework. 11/10 this map is fantastic.

An underappreciated gem

i'd say this is much better than the majority of horror maps here. though there weren't any custom textures, the jumpscares were quite unexpected, while the ambience, voice acting and de-gore-ations addon worked well with the map's detailed vanilla build and helped to amplify the unsettling atmosphere. plus, i usually find cutscenes annoying to get past but the ones featured here were extremely well-done and definitely worth the wait (especially when i was trapped in a long corridor with the blinking lights and all). brilliant use of commands :)

i've got a few suggestions though to make this map even better:

- is it possible to remove all of the unnecessary files in the .mcworld folder? i see armor textures and .json files which i don't think had use in the map, and those could be why the .mcworld size is so big. yes it doesn't impact the gameplay but it's just to polish the map and provide a faster download.

- the slowness effect made some parts of the map feel like a chore, so i recommend removing it entirely. this is also important for the chase sequences as i'm unable to do anything once the antagonist spots me.

otherwise i'd say this map was amazingly crafted and i can tell there was a lot of dedication put into it. also a massive improvement from your previous horror maps.
