Blockbuster: Jetpack

Tired of all of those jetpack mods that use entities, use alternate modes of flight, require Education Edition to be turned on, or just don't work? Try this one on for size. This Bedrock Addon implements a series of jetpacks using a simple mechanic. Hold the jetpack in your hand to turn it on. Hold spacebar to climb, hold shift to drop, and use normal movement keys to move in any general direction. It's as close to creative flight as you can get without turning on creative.Recipes are simple and are easy to find in the menu like any other item to craft. Fuel is made by cooking redstone blocks or by crafting it from redstone and coal.

It's free, no nagging link advertising, and it does what it says it does... works as close as creative flight as you can get in survival. If you have suggestions on how to make the improvements you requested, I'm open to updating the addon.

Trash talking about other jetpack Addons while your addon is not better than them, your jetpack can't even be worn on players back, player won't take any fall damage even if the inventory is empty and has no jetpacks in it, flying up ^ is super slow, only flying forward is fast, if u can fix these stuff u can insult other jetpack Addons otherwise u should not be doing it😀

I have tested multiple times and have not been able to recreate the issue of the user not taking fall damage when not holding the jetpack. I've confirmed via multiple use cases that the player takes fall damage and can sometimes die if not holding the jetpack, regardless of what items are in your inventory. I will need steps to reproduce lack of fall damage before I can attempt to resolve it.

As to wearing on the player's back, if you move to 3rd person, you will see the jetpack is indeed on your back. You must have the item in your hand because that is the control stick to fly. You should be able to put it in your off hand and still fly, but the need for it to be in one of your hands was intentional.

Finally, the climb speed of the player climbing ladders, scaffolding, vines, etc., is a fixed value that appears to not be modifiable. If I ever find a way to modify that, the climb speed will be improved.

Do it with animation controller, give player levitation 5 when they press jump and the player will fly up faster and slow down the flying forward speed because it's too fast
