the only problem with it is that it takes off the nametags but if you look from a certain angle you can still see it

yo, if you could add the feature to have the name tags only be hidden to certain people, this would save my life.

like, for example if they had the tag “Team1” then they could see everyone else’s nametag that had the same tag.

that is a simple command block creation just (dont follow exact commands as I am rusty) /execute @a tag add hidename if @a tag team1

Hello, Minecraft added the ability to create custom slash commands so you could make a command like /hn:nametag with parameters like hide playername or show playernames It got added in the new 1.21.80 version and not many know it yet. So I share that there.

If you want all players to start the game with hidden name tags, use 'Hide Nametags - Auto'. If you prefer players to start with visible name tags and hide them later, use 'Hide Nametags - Manual'

Yes! Just make sure the addon is enabled in the world. And apply the command to yourself
