Ores and Biomes Release 4.2.0 - Minor Additions

Hello! I've been working on this mod for 3 years now! Over these three years, I have been able to release it more than once, show you something interesting and give you the opportunity to test yourself in all of this! Thank you for being with us!

Bug fixes

  • Fixed global errors in Spanish translation
  • Custom pickaxes could not mine all types of redstone ore
  • Custom crafting tables had a crafting tag at the magic table
  • Smoky Quartz blocks have been removed
  • The emerald armor texture has been removed
  • There were no crafts of Zinc plated brass helmet, breastplate, leggings, boots
  • There were no textures of Zinc-plated copper helmet, breastplate, leggings, boots

 

Changes

  • The code of tools and weapons has been changed, the block mining list has been updated
  • Removed zinc coated Voobrosite and Netherite armor
  • Structures carved: arch, water structure, ice structure, king statue, sword statue
  • Vanilla templates can be applied to custom armor
  • Some items have received a maximum stack: 1
  • All blocks and things were grouped whenever possible
  • Changed the sounds of the brass door, hatch, grate, lamps
  • Brass grate no longer has a model

Will you change or add new biome in the world generation? Since in the title it's literally say "Ore and BiOmEs"
So my first idea for new biome is Redwood biome, it will comes with new wood type called redwood (pretty obvious) and will replace the vanilla redwood

Yes, there will be biomes, this would be my main part if I knew how to make biomes, at the moment biomes are created plus with a script, or by replacing vanilla biomes. One of the “Dry” biomes received its generation in the form of a structure and a mini version that is generated in the desert. I will listen to your biome, I have seen a similar biome in other mods as an example Expensive Biome

Where can I find platinum, because I have been searching for hours and I cannot find any to make the table for crafting tools and armor.

Hey,am I the only one who can not find smokey quartz,jasper or nether ores in the nether?Anyone know at what level they spawn?

Generation of ores in for citrine from 35 jasper and quartz from 50 for titanium from 10 to 35 Make sure you are using version 1.20.70 or higher

Great mod, you should make something new like add biome based ore generation: malachite spawns only in desert or mesa, amber only in mesa.... do that with all this materials and make that different materials have different uses, like materials found in ice biomes have fire restistance.... this mod idea have a lot of potential to create a dynamic gameplay.

If I make it so that each ore is in its own biome, it will be a chaos of the world, firstly, it will become more difficult to find important ores, this will be where most of the complaints will come from. it is just to create more space between gears, more adventure, harder to finish, i was thinking about something like Fortnite Lego becouse to complete the game you need to: first complete plains gear then go to the desert and desert caves, then in snow and snow caves, then in snow peaks. it makes the game better becouse you cant go straight up to snow you have to visit al the world
