I'll be brutally honest with this review.

The idea is interesting but some parts of the execution definitely need improving, for example, putying humorous names for locations and attempting to be funny isn't a good thing in a *horror* map since the player should feel scared and not disappointed by a lame and overused joke. The jumpscares emanate 2013/2014 horror map vibes as in they are cheap and predictable (basically if you snuck up on someone and went "BOO!!"), horror shouldn't just be the momentary jolt but also leave a sense of dread that will make the player rethink before turning off the light at night. Some parts felt confusing as the instructions from the voice were too vague (i.e. "Should i head through the first entrance on the left or the second?"). Finally, the ending, the story in itself is fine, not the greatest but still good (even though some things are still left unexplained even after the end) yet the ending felt very ubrupt as once you enter the lobby where you can choose the chapter you don't know if there's something more or that's it.
The one praise i will definitely give you is the part where you mustn't make too much noise or the monster will hear you, that is a very interesting mechanic that i've yet to see be used before this map, so you did a good job on that.

Overall, i'd give it 6/10. There was one bug i encountered where when i opened or closed a door in the prologue at the house it would still look like it's closed but i think that was something on my end and not the texture pack's.

Cheers,
Max

WOW man I've never tried out horror maps before and yours has given me a very good experience. I loved everything about this map, the jump scares, sounds, texture, the mood, it actually inspired me to make related maps, keep up the good work :D

Great map! But the fact that you can move through the boarded doors, and that you need to do that to progress makes no sense, had me running back and forth a few times in that chapter

So Sorry to hear :( I'll take the boarding door issue into consideration for my next maps. Thank you for your feedback!

A quick question, would it mess anything up if I were to play it in multiplayer?
1
Yes.. the tagging systems for tasks will assign basically only 1 person to it.

even spectating won't work.
Sorry :(

Best map !!! But can i have some tips in chapter 3 ? They said i need to stop walking but how long ? I already stop walking for 10 second but when i start walking i still get the jumpscare, that scared me a little bit...homewer, this is an amazing horror map !

Yes! If the map works correctly, there should be an actionbar after a few seconds that says something like "I think the thing is gone..." in blue text. That is when it is safe to move. :) Hope you found it helpful!
