Ok!! just to be clear, Im a texture pack maker and i know a bit of coding. I saw you guys screaming about malware in this file. But the fact is that it isn't a malware, and I've the answer that why is it an .exe file instead of .mcpack. As you guys know this pack is a 256x texture pack and you guys even used a Faithful 32x? its only 32x and the file size is 40mbs and this 256x is like 8 times bigger in size, thats roughly 350mbs. And you would not like to install a pack that big. So instead he made an exe file that downloads all .png files from cloud and arrange that huge piece of data for you. When it comes to security, running exe file from an unknown owner on windows is not very reliable. Since i do a bit of C++ coding. I make .exe files and after executing them once Windows Defender automatically marks that as a malicious file, even when made using Microsoft Visual Studio no matter what code is inside it. And in terms of security we as a creator must pass our product through multiple inspections done by MCPEDL and this file is scanned using Avast Security, you can check that on download page. In a nutshell this pack is completely SAFE to download. He did that just to save your precious time that you would use while your Minecraft load this pack ULTRASLOWLY. Hope you understand.
