Poggy's Player Corpse v2.0 [Stable Update]

It can be a pain to return to your last known death location to only find out that your items have despawned. Trust me, happened a lot to me all the time. Don't worry though, this Add-On solves that problem! You no longer need to worry about loosing your items!

  • Updated the Add-On to support 1.20.50+
  • Updated the Add-On to no longer require Beta-API toggle
    • Add-On will work in future Minecraft Updates

for those of you who can't get it to work with other addons try loading it above all other addons.
works fine for me after doing that

The addon is pretty good but it feels like it's missing something, maybe some blood?

I believe it doesn't work together with addons that use newer versions of "@minecraft/server", for some reason it auto updates from 1.7.0 to 1.9.0, causing this addon to break.

Here are the relevant messages from my server's console:

[Scripting] Plugin [Player Corpse v.1.1.4] - promoted [@minecraft/server] from [1.2.0] to [1.9.0] requested by [@minecraft/server-ui - 1.1.0].
[Scripting] Plugin [Player Corpse v.1.1.4] - promoted [@minecraft/server] from [1.7.0] to [1.9.0] requested by [Player Corpse v.1.1.4 - 1.0.0].

doesn't really work (im at 1.20.60), but i can summon a corpse using commands

Hey Proggy nice work, for all of you it works just fine on single player, LAN, and Realms. Place Behavior Above all else, and RP above all else.

Few things we have tested Proggy that im not sure working as intended. When a player does die to FALL damage they still explode and items fly everywhere. Same goes for /kill commands. But Mob kills, Drowning, and other Various deaths work fine. All tested on Single Player, LAN, and Realms.

Probably a bug and not a feature, but my corpse inventory size is 3 lines and part of the character’s inventory disappears. It might drop next to the corpse, but I haven't checked yet. I know for sure that the inventory is less than what is stated in the mod description and on the screenshots.

That's great, please, I want to use it in my server but it doesn't work, I already made a lot of tests but even with all of experiments and the education activated, the corpse don't appear
