In this survival server, the object is to explore the world and build your own faction, or live in an existing faction. You don't have to do this, and it's completely fine to just build as long as it's not on faction territory, but you get less protection of what/where you build and no server-wide recognition. There are multiple factions in the server, and to join one see the information in the discord. You can add your own faction and then get it added officially if it is permitted.
Important info: this server uses an allowlist to deter hackers and trolls, to join this list you must be in the discord server (unfortunately this means under 13 year olds cannot play Revenant SMP, because discord's minimum age is 13).
